Public Safety Employees Return From Haiti

Officer Bertelsen and Firefighter Tandy recently returned from Haiti where they assisted the Utah Hospital Task Force and Healing Hands for Haiti in relief efforts.

DUI

Officer Vance responded to Walmart on a report of a female that appeared to intoxicated. He found, Amber Manhat in the parking lot. She was found to be impaired so she was arrested.

Officer Rochette responded to a report of a motorist that appeared to be impaired, at the Harmon’s gas station. He found the suspect vehicle leaving the area and stopped the car as it pulled behind a restaurant in North Orem. The driver, Michael Blackhurst was found to be impaired and was arrested.

Catalytic Converter Thefts on the Rise

Orem Detectives Arrest Rape Suspect

On the 17th, Orem Detectives were able to track down and arrest, Jason P. Christensen at a Motel in Provo. Jason was the suspect in a Rape case that occurred on the 12th. He was taken to the Utah County Jail and charged with, Rape and Distribution of Prescription Medication.
