Officers responded to a Traffic Accident at 400 N. 1250 W.

Scam

Officer Holdaway responded to a single vehicle traffic accident.

The driver had hit a light pole and drove off.  His van was found a short time later, parked. The driver was found walking away from the van on State Street.  James Heap was arrested for DUI and brought to the station.

Officer Tripp recovered a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage that was stolen out of Pleasant Grove. The car was returned to the owner.

An Orem resident woke up to find a Hispanic male inside her home. When she woke up, he ran out of the home.  Officers Christensen and Lopez found the suspect, hiding in some bushes of a nearby home.Â
Manual Lopez was arrested and taken to the County Jail.

DUI-Officer Petersen responded to a report of a single vehicle accident in the area of, 360 S. 100 W.  The car had struck a large tree.Â
The driver, Tamara Tomsich was not injured but she was intoxicated.  She was arrested for DUI and brought to our holding facility.

This is not new but it’s starting to resurface. You get an email (This is called a Phishing email) claiming to be from your email provider. It says, that your account is going to be suspended unless you update your information.
