Officers responded to a report of a Hit and Run Traffic Accident at Orem Blvd and Center Street.

Criminal Mischief

Lloyd Green was arrested after he was caught putting water into the gas tank of a car. This happened around 3:00 AM and the car belonged to his daughter-in-law. He was confronted and detained by the homeowners until we arrived.
He was booked into the County Jail.

We have heard of this scam but now we have a local victim.  This scam involves Autotrader.com.  The victim found a car for sale out of California.  He traded emails back and forth with the owner.Â
